Star Community Hub

The school is currently closed until further notice, in line with Government guidance.

We are working with Lancashire County Council to support a number of Community Hubs across the county to provide ongoing care for the children of critical workers and vulnerable pupils during the coronavirus pandemic.

Our emergency provision for children of critical workers and vulnerable pupils is being delivered at the Star Community Hub – Preston. The Hub is at Eden Boys’ School, Preston, which is also part of the Star Academies family.

Many parents working in critical sectors may be able to ensure their child is kept at home. Every child who can be safely cared for at home should be. There is no requirement for parents and carers working in critical jobs to send their children to school if they do not need or wish to do so.

If you have any questions about our emergency provision, please email keyworkers@olivepreston.staracademies.org
