Nativity Story Retold

Derek Estill from the Blackburn with Darwen Interfaith forum visited the school on Monday with some knitted biblical characters and told shared the ‘Story of Christmas’ with the pupils.

The visit will support the pupils with their learning in classes where pupils are currently learning about Christmas as part of the curriculum.

Derek Estill commented, “Pupils were a delight. They listened very well and answered superbly. It is always an honour to be asked to come and talk to the pupils at the school.”

Derek was invited and attended The Olive School   in December 2016 to talk to the pupils about the Christmas Story.
